POSITION SUMMARY

This position is a supervisor for a large utilization management and a case management team. The supervisor will help oversee daily clinical management operations, participate in the hiring and training of new personnel, collaborate with supervisors and other management team members, medical directors and providers.

Fundamental Components:

Active and unrestricted RN license. Previous supervisory experience in a related healthcare field. Prior Utilization Review or Case Management experience. Understanding of health insurance or managed care. Proficiency with desktop computers and excellent verbal and written communication skills

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Prior supervisory experience in a healthcare setting. Utilization Review or previous case management experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Able to prioritize and multi task. Proven leadership skills

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Nursing/Registered Nurse is required

Nursing/Certified Case Manager is desired
