POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sr. Account Executive must be able to indirectly manage and engage internal resources and fellow team members to drive work to completion on behalf of the customer. Candidate should be an advocate of the customer and be able to provide creative and unique solutions to customer problems. Candidate should provide strategic direction while at the same time overseeing the account teams day to day servicing of the account. The Sr. AE reports to the Sr. Director of Sales and Service dedicated to TRS.

FUNDAMENTAL COMPONENTS

Meets assigned retention and profitability objectives and seeks opportunities for profitable growth Acts as strategic business partner to customers and producers to optimize the positioning of Aetnas products and services and to attain profitability and membership objectives. Works collaboratively within Aetna and across business functions to ensure customer needs are understood and key issues are addressed. Thoroughly analyzes and reviews reports and utilization in order to consult with TRS and their consultant, implement appropriate interventions and drive mutually beneficial outcomes for the customer and Aetna. Analyzes and reviews reports/data and utilization to assist the customer in understanding key drivers of cost. Recommends solutions based on data. Coordinates resources to ensure a successful service outcome with TRS

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Minimum 5 years experience in the health insurance or health consulting fields.

Superior verbal and written communication skills.

Technical skills required and proficient: Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Share Point/Box, Video conferencing/Skype/Presentations

Experience working with customers

EDUCATION:

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

The Sr. Account Executive dedicated to TRS is a very visible position within Aetna and will provide excellent training for other positions/promotions.

Ability to earn variable compensation by retaining and growing the account which will include a RFP for the post-65 MA business with in the next 24 months.
