Aetna Medicare Broker Manager in Birmingham, Alabama

POSITION SUMMARY

Broker Manager recruits, trains and manages independent Broker community within a defined counties in Alabama.

** Please note this person must be living in the Birmingham area.

Fundamental Components:

Broker Managers preform the following tasks:

1) Recruit new independent Brokers that are able to enroll prospects compliantly into Aetna individual Medicare Advantage and PDP products

2) Train, monitor, and manage independent Brokers to enroll prospects compliantly into Aetna products

3) Conduct ANOC and Member Meetings in the Fall and Spring with Aetna Medicare Team

4) With Sales Director develop enrollment strategies to meet annual and monthly enrollment goals

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Minimum 5 years sales and/or broker sales experience required.

Sales management experience preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Ability to use standard corporate software packages and corporate applications.

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Insurance/Life and Health Insurance License is desired
