POSITION SUMMARY

This position will design, build, and analyze reports for Medicare Service Operations. In addition, this position will research platforms, develop an understanding of the data, and then use that understanding to create reports and visualizations that provide insight to leadership and the organization.

Fundamental Components:

We are looking for a talented Informatics Lead that will provide programming and technical skills to support data management and reporting requirements. This position will be accountable for the development, review, and handling of internal reporting and external regulatory deliverables. The Informatics Lead will influence enhancements to business processes and system infrastructure to monitor and maintain data quality.

Create complex queries, including technical reporting and programming. Create and communicate messages based on available data from real-time analyses, including preparing easy-to-understand charts, tables, graphs, and other related documents for diverse audiences.Validate reports and deliverables for accuracy and timeliness per specifications and workflows. Meet with other plan departments and cross functional areas to understand and facilitate data requests.Monitor and track data requests and regulatory notices. Analyze complex data for trends and outliers and provide in-depth root cause analysis. Understand nuances of data, check for reasonability, and work to improve data quality. Monitor and maintain audit processes and documentation. Influence changes/enhancements to business processes, policies, and system infrastructure to improve information.May lead or act as a business technical contact in the design of new applications or enhancements. Perform other duties as assigned.BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:Demonstrated technical skills including advanced working knowledge of Tableau, SQL, SAS, Excel, and Access.Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations to drive business solutions.Strong preference for candidates having a technical degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, or Informatics.Five or more years of health research or pharmaceutical industry analytic experience, including extensive and diverse knowledge of health care data, metrics, systems and standards preferred but not required.Predictive modeling knowledge helpful.EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
