POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for establishing quality assurance standards and delivering automation and best practices for prescribed software delivery methodologies

(Waterfall, Scaled Agile). Manage multiple releases from all perspectives within I&T, across on or more Domains, under the leadership of a QA

Fundamental Components:

Domain Delivery-Accountable for overall test delivery, execution and management. Develops and maintains Status and Metric reporting Possess experience and knowledge of static testing Oversees generation and reporting of all QA metrics. Establishes cadence to communicate (verbal and written) with business, development, and senior management on the testing progress and outcomes. Reviews and responds to defect triages, testing metrics, project status reports completed by the Delivery Leads Creates and maintains planning and testing artifacts as appropriate. Manages Domain budget, ensuring all testing and production stay within budget and budgets are appropriately updated. - Partner with key stakeholders across technology and business in order to develop a quality testing strategy Develop the Test Strategy and Test Plan. Assist in authoring as needed Promotes adherence to prescribed software lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall, SAFe) Collaborates with key business and technical stakeholders to summarize progress and objectives Partner with key business and technical stakeholders, in order to develop a quality release testing strategy Actively lead and participate in software delivery product sessions, gathering business requirements and acceptance criteria for Test Strategy and approach. Coordinates the resource demand for all QA activities () Ensures that signoffs have been obtained on the Test Result Summary and Defect Summary Domain and Non-Domain Delivery-Identifies and escalates release level risks, issues, impacts and recommendations to Delivery Manager Confirms the work schedule and project allocations for QA resources Tracking progress, dependencies, constraints and assumptions () Reviews and approves the Implementation Plan and coordinate checkout planning and resources May be responsible for securing and planning training of staff for new technologies and tools Participate in or lead evaluation of new products and tools May be responsible for coordinating, executing and assessing formal Proof of Concept (POC) for consideration of new products and tools Coordinate/Collaborate with external Vendors, as scope and delivery dictates Participate in or lead product and tool strategy development and design assessment Responsible for familiarity with product and tool usage through required training

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

5+ years solid experience with software project life cycles. Knowledge of static testing and performance engineering; including production performance Able to mentor team members on the application of the methodology. Proven track record meeting project dates. 3 years or more of Project Management experience

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
