Responsible for data operations staff that supports channel partnership clients. Responsible for the technical aspects of the system development and implementation process. Design, build, test, document and maintain SAS based solutions on Unix/Windows for multiple clients. Responsible for monthly and quarterly database updates and new client implementations with competing deadlines. Ensure project delivery deadlines are met. Provide ongoing support for application system. Direct and implement strategic direction and policy within area. Develop and maintain complex routine macros. Coordinate with Product Management and other development teams as needed to complete projects. Maintain standard programs and utilities to process healthcare claims data and prepare the data for analytical reporting. Work with internal Client Service Managers and directly with clients to determine DART (a web-based, analytical healthcare reporting tool) reporting needs and address data quality issues. Strong communication and organizational skills are required. Ability to explain analytical scenarios and questions to team members and external parties in non-technical, non-analytical roles. Review, evaluate and prepare periodic performance reports of staff and communicate progress on team activity. Ensure technical design of project and baseline work is in accordance with Enterprise Architecture direction. Enforce the utilization of accepted methodology and tools in a disciplined manner.

    Experience must have included utilizing statistical software: SAS on UNIX Platform using textpad editor, SAS/BASE. SAS/MACRO. Ability to read and write XML files using SAS. Languages: SAS, PL/SQL, Operating Systems: Windows, NT, XP, UNIX/LINUX; ETL Tools: Informatica Power Center. MS Office: Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and use of Source control software such as Vault.


    The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
