Key requirementsMeets new sales production and profitability objectives for activity managed within the MEA region with specific targeted responsibility for the development and management of a large corporate pipeline (large corporate defined as >$5M GWP) and initiatives actions to ensure conversion of new business production through:• Working with Strategic Brokers and key fronting partners to identify new large corporate opportunities• Working with the Executive Director of Distribution to build a large corporate sales proposition, marketing and acquisition plan • Working cross regionally especially with the US to identify prospects and develop plans to acquire• Writes and delivers organized, well thought through polished presentations of solutions, with clear business case driven benefits with sound commercial justification• Identifies and capitalizes on emerging trends in the marketplace by participating in community and industry events• Reaches senior levels and C Suite execs within a target partner organizations and has the ability to deliver high quality BD focused presentations, that tailors the message to effectively engage senior executives • Highly developed consultative selling skills – with a focus on high functioning verbal and written skills, excellent questioning techniques, and exceptional influencing skills (internal and external)• Maintains sales data and required information within SFDC• Develops & maintains market intelligence on products, industry and emerging marketplace trends• Shares relevant industry and competitive data within and across business units and segments so that it drives internal change and ensures that Aetna are competitive within the large corporate segment• Manages resources, works cross-functionally and fosters a collaborative environment especially with operations, network and underwriting• Mentors and supports peers, sales and service team members Background/Experience• 8-10 years PMI/IPMI industry experience especially within the large corporate environment• Extensive financial services industry experience and a proven track record working within an insurance provider either within a corporate partnership and or business development role• Proven track record of success and delivery – and very comfortable with the responsibility of hitting large financial targets ($6-7m in year 1) & working on long term initiatives• Proven skills in account sales/strategic client development with large brokers and/or large corporate clients• Expert knowledge of the employee benefits space, highly beneficial to have international employee benefits knowledge Education and Certification Requirements• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience – preferable but not essential• Fluent in English verbal and written – excellent and highly developed oral and written skill is essential#LI-BR1
