POSITION SUMMARY

Office based in Franklin, TN

The Operations Testing Manager is a managerial level position responsible for development and execution of comprehensive testing processes for system enhancements, new products and processes encompassing enrollment, policy administration, claims administration, and agent administration for our senior supplemental health insurance.

Fundamental Components:

Lead operations support testing team to manage, implement, and maintain an effective testing process for system, process, and configuration changes.

Provide daily oversight and direction to testing team including evaluating incoming project requests, assigning resources, setting priorities, changing scope and test coverage, and resolving issues.

Direct the testing team support of business projects to identify testing scope, develop testing strategies, and develop test cases for system changes, process changes, and enhancements based on system analysis and business requirements.

Monitor and ensure that test execution and analysis, testing reviews, and defect tracking is performed in accordance to business testing standards.

Develop, document, maintain, and improve repeatable testing processes to support implementation of system changes, product launches, and Business Releases.

Train and supervise testing team personnel in business testing procedures to ensure testing is comprehensive, effective, and efficient.

Coordinate testing team resources and resource scheduling.

Participate in cross functional business release capacity planning to ensure adequate testing resources are allocated to support development.

Develop, implement, and maintain testing team metrics and controls.

Develop new testing strategies and methodologies that support business needs by incorporating new skills, processes, and technology.

Continuously improve testing processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency.

Provide regular, comprehensive updates to operations and project teams inclusive of all current and future test team activities. Updates to include detailed testing schedules, status, percentage complete and potential roadblocks.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Minimum of seven years recent and related technical and operations experience required Minimum of one year of recent and related supervisory or project lead experience Minimum of one year recent and related business system analysis, development, or implementation experience. Effective organizational, decision-making, and analytical skills Experience in health care industry preferred

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
