POSITION SUMMARY

The Associate Operations Support Analyst is a junior level business analyst position that will be involved with gathering requirements, developing system configuration designs, and configuration of our insurance policy administration system; gathering and analyzing data to determine root cause and resolution of system production issues; execute testing for system changes related to agent licensing and commissions, application processing, policyholder administration, claims administration, and outsourced vendor integration.

Fundamental Components:

Will be assisting business support team in executing operations business projects to include: project scoping/initiation, business impact analysis, business requirements gathering and analysis, system configuration design and system configuration, test planning and test execution, and project management and implementation. Will be assisting business support team to solve system related production issues by gathering and analyzing data to determine root cause, developing solutions, and implementing system changes. Will be responsible for reporting, tracking, and resolution of system and process issues. Will be assisting with system configuration and configuration documentation for product administration, premium administration, agent compensation, new business administration, policy administration, claims administration, and system security changes. Will be executing comprehensive test cases and test scripts across all business system functionality agent licensing and commissions, enrollment, application processing, policyholder service, claims, finance, and vendor processing. Will be expected to begin a personal development program to eventually become a subject matter expert on the InsPro Administration system, and maintain a good working knowledge of other integrated business and vendor systems functionalities and capabilities.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Demonstrated critical thinking skills and problem solving. Demonstrated ability to analyze large data sets in Microsoft Excel. Will need to be able to learn SQL database querying. Basic understanding of insurance administration systems. Strong and effective communication skills. Experience in health care industry preferred. 4 year college degree required.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION

This is a junior entry level analyst position, will gain experience in Insurance infrastructure and operations. New analysts to participate in 6 month on the job training program to learn system configuration, production support, project management, and system testing. Position will provide wide cross functional business exposure and experience with operations, technology, sales, finance, and actuarial functions. Position will be responsible for developing and implementing a wide variety of solutions to meet the needs of a fast growing business.
