Sales, account management and business retention for Aetna products and services in support of profitable growth and other business objectives.
Works with regionally-aligned team to develop strong personal and collaborative relationships with an assigned book of business and to achieve customer satisfaction, revenue, membership, and earnings objectives.
Accountable for building and maintaining strong relationships with their book of business to achieve growth and renewal objectives.
Responsibilities include delivering renewals, cross-sale, upsale, and growing sales.
May spend time answering calls from brokers regarding renewals, benefits, plan changes, upsells, and cross-sales.
Ratio of staffing aligned to number of cases and average membership per case.
Refers customers to Aetna Answer Team for all service requests and issues.
Collaborates with account team members and functional support areas on more complex product or service issues to ensure clients needs are met.
Offers creative product and service solutions to address clients evolving needs.
Monitors on an on-going basis clients product lines and services to ensure clients needs are being met.

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Education and Certification Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a closely-related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Appropriate state licensure to sell insurance as required, subject to product sold.
Current Account Associates interested in the Account Client Manager position must earn their license within six months in order to be eligible for consideration.
