Aetna COBRA Account Coordinator in Grand Rapids, Michigan

The Account Coordinator is responsible for performing all of the functions required to fulfill regulatory and client expectations on behalf of COBRA, Retiree, and LOA participants and to meet the needs of our customers. Performs research and analysis of multiple data sources to meet business and client needs.
Process enrollments, ensure proper allocation of payments and compliant and timely participant communications. Receive and manipulate data files and import into billing system. Verify output and system updates are accurate. Maintain data in the billing and bswift systems, ensuring the two systems remain in sync Manage participant phone queue calls, including: tier 1 & 2 calls to completion. Consult, resolve or refer to Account Manager on tier 3 calls. Prepare employee and employer communication documents, such as letters, statements and month end reports Performs research by gathering and analyzing information, may require manipulating data and/or synthesizing from multiple sources. Translates detailed data into constructive data and information. Documents specifications and process. Assist with ad hoc client projects as needed and assigned
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. Data interpretation and analysis experience. Healthcare and/or customer service background. Demonstrated skill in data gathering, interpretation & data presentation. Familiarity with databases and comfortable generating reports Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience.
