POSITION SUMMARY

In the Group Insurance Account Executive position you will develop and execute strategic business plans for national account customer relationships, revenue growth and other business objectives.

Fundamental Components includes, but is not limited to:

  • Manages accounts to retain profitability and grow the business through consultative selling, issue resolution and superior service.

  • Develops and delivers strategic plan and creative solutions relative to Group Insurance products and customer.

  • Uses financial and business acumen in the delivery of renewal and/or accounting.

  • Develops and leads cross-functional approaches in solving complex issues.

  • Builds effective working relationships across all functions.

  • Travel is required to participate in customer/consultant meetings, as necessary( approximately 10-25% of the time.)

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

5 Years GI experience (Disability, Life, and FMLA); Required

5 years account management experience; Required

Proficient in Excel, Word; Required

Strategic thinker, who embraces challenging situations. Builds strong relationships internally and externally; Required

Analyzes data to derive observations, solutions and recommendations; Required

Strong presentation skills; Required

EDUCATION

The minimum level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
