Aetna Account Manager/Dental in Hartford, Connecticut

Assists in the retention of our Middle Market Dental/Vision customers various tools to illustrate our strong value proposition. (100-3000) Acts as regional Dental/Vision resource for assigned regional territories, and drives the cross sale of vision into existing dental BOB.

Fundamental Components:

Supports product-specific retention for area of responsibility, including retaining stand-alone Dental/Vision cases even if Aetna does not retain medical. Conducts research and data analysis, works with Account Managers and other stakeholders to develop and drive dental and vision retention strategies, and creates accountability for results. Aligns retention strategies with overall product business strategy. Develops and drives retention-related projects and initiatives. - Assists in developing the dental product-specific renewal strategy and process ensuring appropriate profit margins and customer/membership retention targets are achieved. - Responsible for financial and retention performance of assigned area of responsibility. Collaborates with sales and account management team to achieve net growth, financial, and retention objectives. - Drives management process for area of responsibility (renewal strategy, regularly review results, monitor performance guarantees, identify & resolve issues, ensure linkages between appropriate areas, etc.) EDUCATION Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION -Must have strong project management skills to drive retention initiatives and focus. -The ideal candidate will have a proven history of: positively influencing people and initiatives, superior collaboration and teamwork, effectively managing quickly changing priorities and urgent deliverables, and finding solutions instead of stopping at barriers.
