POSITION SUMMARY

This leader will develop the expertise within the team to evaluate Aetna's current discount position in each market and effectively communicate this information to various constituencies across the organization.

Fundamental Components:

This work will involve the development of self-reported discounts used in discount guarantees and RFP questionnaires as well as the development of the discount data submissions that are delivered to consulting firms. The work on this team will involve the enhancement of existing processes to develop both types of discounts and vigilantly updating them based on the latest historical data and future contracting expectations.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Bachelor's degree along w/ 7+ years related work experience

Strong communication skills and strong business acumen required

Fellowship in Society of Actuaries (FSA) strongly desired

Significant experience with discount data desired

Significant experience with network / contracting information and data desired

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Actuarial/Fellow of the Society of Actuaries is desired
