POSITION SUMMARY

This role will help redefine expense management, operations and governance at Aetna.

Fundamental Components:

The Corporate Operating Expense Management Manager will provide strong oversight and governance on Operating Expense Management policies and practices to engage the organization in building a cost conscious culture.

Work with other department across the organization to develop reporting analytics that will assist in efforts to reduce non-value activities

Leverage Cost Allocation and Expense Management Transformation initiatives to bring transparency, actionable information and collaboration between businesses to reduce overall cost footprint.

Develop best practices for expense management organizations, leverage shared-services to free-up CFO and Expense Management resources to consult with their business partners.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

5+ years related accounting/financial experience (generally required)

Strong Project Mgmt. Skills

Operating Expenses exp./ SG&A experience

Strong Communication Skills

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Finance/Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is desired

FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCES

Finance/Financial analysis - closing, planning, forecasting processes/4-6 Years

Finance/Expense management/4-6 Years

TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCES

Technical - Desktop Tools/Microsoft PowerPoint/4-6 Years/End User

Technical - Reporting Tools/Hyperion Enterprise/4-6 Years/End User
