POSITION SUMMARY

This role will assist in expense management, operations and governance at Aetna.

Fundamental Components:

The team member will be responsible for assisting the Cost Allocation & HR Financial Control teams with the maintenance and execution of cost allocation activities and sustaining a strong control environment between our HR and Finance systems, including the following tasks:

  • Liaising about the correct allocation methodology with business partners

  • Maintenance of the allocation system (cost center / allocation methodology / account setups)

  • Execution of the allocation checks (system checks, result checks, business unit checks)

  • Performing the month end close and forecast related allocation activities

  • Maintaining a cost center structure that aligns to the departmental needs

  • Preparing month end reporting for allocated SG&A as well as Full-Time Employee Counts

    BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience (i.e. data mining, data analysis, data mapping)

  • Ability to summarize and effectively communicate data

  • Must have strong Microsoft Access and Excel skills

    EDUCATION

    The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
