POSITION SUMMARY

Aetna Business Excellence (ABX) has an exciting opportunity as a Lead Business Consultant (Commercial and Service Operations). Lead Business Consultant will work closely with business, operations and technology leaders across the company to drive critical transformations that delivers on the company's vision. Must have strong analytical skills with Lean, Six Sigma background.

Fundamental Components:

-Develop and deploy the critical elements of a Lean Operating System focused on operational excellence, cost reduction, employee engagement and increased customer satisfaction.

-Partners with Lean Transformation Leaders to develop customer-centric focus within specific areas of the company.

-Partners with specific business areas to help identify areas of focus, quantifying critical process elements such as number of FTEs, systems accessed and cost elements.

-Train employees on the lean tools and lead/facilitate Business Process Value Stream Design and lean events

-Develop metrics and tracking mechanisms designed to update management and employees and measure progress against objectives.

-Ensures all regulatory and compliance measures are met within global guidelines when designing and implementing change.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

10+ years experience with several of the following methodologies: management consulting, project consulting, business process consulting, financial strategic analysis, mergers and acquisitions, strategic business planning, and/or risk management consulting.

Experience with enterprise-wide and/or cross-functional large scale initiatives with high degree of complexity.

Experience with Process continuous improvement needed and any Lean Six Sigma experience desired

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
