POSITION SUMMARY

As the Sr. Director of Finance IT Strategy you will lead a team of dedicated and matrix managed resources to provide project management oversight for the implementation of the Finance Data Repository (FDR). This is a cross department, cross functional initiative to provide a single source of record for all Financial data to be consumed by all stakeholders throughout Aetna.

Fundamental Components:

Lead a team of project/program managers to deliver on all aspects of the FDR initiative.Provide strong leadership skills when dealing with competing priorities, providing guidance to the broader team and appropriately escalating issue to keep the project on track

Build and maintain stakeholder engagement by working with all stakeholders to ensure that their requirements are met and there is a clear path to sign-off before any existing applications are sunsetProvide appropriate change management/organizational readiness guidance and support to all stakeholders through robust communication strategy and thorough training strategy

Develop strong partnership with IT to facilitate a smooth project delivery.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

10+ years program management experience working on technology solutionsPrior experience managing the implementation of a data repository/data lake

Extensive experience in healthcare, managed care insurance or financial services preferred

Proven leadership skills to lead complicated program

Executive presence to work with key partners in all parts of the business

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
