POSITION SUMMARY

Senior application developer responsible for the development and maintenance of a critical tier-1 web application. The successful candidate will lead or act as a subject matter expert in the design, development, testing and implementation of moderate to complex technical components. This is a hands-on technical position that requires working very closely with other technical and non-technical team members to finalize requirements, design and implement strategic technical solutions according to best practices and industry standards. Responsible for reviewing code from other developers for correctness, performance and adherence to company coding policies.

Fundamental Components:

Ability to partner and/or lead other technical resources in solving complex business needs. Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure technical solutions are clearly communicated and understood by all relevant stakeholders. Willingness to mentor other junior developers. As a team member, candidate may be relied upon to drive and promote a collaborative/innovative culture across the organization.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

6-8 years in application program development experience. Involvement in all phases of the systems development life cycle. 5+ years working with the following web technologies: ASP.Net, Web API, Classic asp, .Net Framework, .Net WCF, DLLs, SQL Server. Additional client-side web development technologies (HTML, HTML5, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery). Understanding of SOA, Clearcase & Agile. Adept at handling multiple assignments and responsibilities simultaneously and adjusting priorities as necessary while delivering a quality product with limited guidance. Act as lead technical resource, overseeing the technical responsibilities of other development resources Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, as you must articulate analysis and designs concepts, issues and concerns, identify risks and prepare necessary documentation.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
