Support Enterprise Risk Management process in the development of ERM dashboards, reports and presentations, and qualitative/quantitative analyses of risk metrics that contribute towards the estimation/understanding of Aetna's risk appetite and risk tolerances. Collaborate with business segments and functional areas to formally capture business risk exposures, controls/activities, and risk metrics.
Collaborate with the different business operations to perform risk assessments to accurately identify enterprise risks using current and emerging industry standard tools and methodologies.
Implement robust risk quantification techniques to facilitate evaluation and prioritization of financial, strategic and operational risks.
Build actuarial assumptions through experience studies and statistical techniques and will have active involvement of the enterprise economic capital model platform conversion.
Support building the data infrastructure for ERMs risk register in Archer to facilitate risk dashboard discussions, monitoring of mitigation and controls and reporting of risk appetite statement.
Advance ERMs monitoring process through the use of data analytics to identify key risk indicators that enables a more dynamic risk management process.
Assist in the creation C-suite-level communications that report on ERM progress and achievements
Provide support and preparing regulatory filings (e.g., ORSA and state questionnaires) and rating agency ERM inquiries/presentations.
Minimum of 3+ Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) exams passed (having achieved your ASA credential is desired)
3 - 5 years experience in SAS, SQL and/or Access
Experience with Excel and database applications required
Strong communication skills
Healthcare background helpful, not required.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
