POSITION SUMMARY

The Broker Manager is accountable for driving and achieving company defined distribution channel sales goal and objectives. Directly responsible for execution of market strategy impacting the recruitment, onboarding, engagement, production, and compliance adherence of their assigned independent agent base.

** This role requires someone who currently lives in the Louisville, KY area.

Fundamental Components:

Responsible for meeting established health plan broker sales goal through management of assigned block of agents. Prospects for and recruits new agents through collaboration with National and Direct agency relationships or through agent marketing activities targeted to agents. Responsible for onboarding new agents by supporting their navigation of contracting, certification, and training requirements. Responsible for obtaining agent Ready to Sell (RTS) goals. Proactively develops agent activation. Strategy should utilize the development of various tactics such as face-to-face, telephonic methods, and written communication methods. Responsible for ongoing individual agent management. Responsibilities include the establishment of production goals and compliance thresholds. Responsible for ensuring agent adherence to all CMS and Aetna guidelines Monitors adherence to all state, federal, and health plan guidelines. Performs other duties as required.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Minimum 5 years Medicare Advantage sales and/or broker sales experience required.

Sales management experience preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and corporate applications.

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.

Kentucky Life and Health license required.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
