Aetna Medicare Operations Project Coordinator in Morrisville, North Carolina

Candidates will be located near Morrisville, NC

Supports local market Medicare leadership on Medicare Advantage operational activities and programs across NC, SC, and TN markets. Accountable for and manages the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of project(s).

Fundamental Components:

Serves as subject matter expert for the operational functions of Medicare products within the MidSouth market. Assists with the execution of all CMS required activities and processes including the accuracy and compliance of the annual bid application, expansion application, member materials, and group setup. Provides consultative support for Medicare product design features, integration schedule, and operational readiness. Maintains an awareness of Medicare market trends, developments, and governmental regulations in Medicare and managed health care organizations.


3-5 years related work experience in Medicare Operations and/or Medicare compliance functions.

Familiarity with regulations and statutes impacting the managed care environment.

Proficiency with standard corporate software applications, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Able to effectively coordinate multiple projects and programs in a matrix environment


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
