Aetna Senior Value-Based Contract Engagement Manager in New Albany, Ohio

POSITION SUMMARY

The successful candidate will manage the Value-Based Contracts for the Ohio/Kentucky market, design enterprise wide and/or cross-functional solutions to address business needs. VBC penetration targets must be met and this role will ensure we are employing the most appropriate VBC as well as ensuring it is managed post implementation.

Fundamental Components:

Negotiate, build and manage value based contracts for the market. Conduct provider contracting process, builds optimal influential relationships for results and deliverables and manages relationship throughout engagement. Fully integrates baseline and metrics tracking into initiative planning and execution for optimal results. Shares joint accountability for initiatives return on investment. Provides continuous coaching, direction, feedback and development for other consultants, matrixed staff and/or external vendors as required.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Must possess a successful track record negotiating large hospital system and large provider group contracts. 7+ years experience with enterprise-wide and/or cross-functional large scale initiatives with high degree of complexity. Demonstrated experience successfully implementing change in complex organizations. Demonstrated ability to build and managed relationships at the senior level.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
