Position Summary: Establishes data quality expectations, and enforces standards and best practices. Leads the work and deliverables of multiple, complex projects or programs, through to implementation, that impact multiple processes, systems, functions, and products. Drives requirements gathering for data quality criteria, thresholds, and reporting.· Establish data quality management strategy and approach to data clean up, maintenance and quality control · Manage data quality activities and ensure collaboration from a group of data stewards/owners, business SMEs and IT stakeholders· Working with stakeholders and data stewards to establish data quality guidelines through the design of both automated and manual processes · Produce metrics supporting data quality performance and processes leveraged in data quality review and continuous improvement · Perform root cause analysis of issues and remediation as governed by application in accordance with data management policies and standards · Triage issues and coordinate resolution efforts across work streams · Work with the data team to profile source data and determine source and metadata characteristics · Implement data quality process including transliteration, parsing, analysis, standardization, and enrichment at point of entry and batch modes. Identifies gaps and recommends remediation. Establishes and manages change management process for gap remediation· Develops and maintains strong understanding of data quality best practices to help drive consistency, transparency and execution excellence through delivery of relevant metrics.· Recognized as an expert or thought leader within the company· Impacts results of PDS and the company by anticipating business and/or regulatory issues and influencing internal practices· Anticipates and solves highly complex problems with broad impact on the business area· Leads projects with notable complexity and risk with business area implications· Requires broad and comprehensive expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques and/or technologies and serves as thought leader· Anticipates business and/or regulatory issues and influences internal practices to improve business results· Leads projects with notable complexity and risk with business area implications· Anticipates and solves highly complex problems with broad impact on the business area; develops innovative solutions· Impacts segment, region, or function through the execution of business area strategy· Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.· Proven project management skills.· Proactively leads a program and/or most complex projects by setting strategic direction.· Identifies gaps and recommends enhancements related to new and/or existing products, services and workflows based on broad view of the organization.· Collaborates and partners with other functional managers, other business areas across/within segments or other business areas to ensure all workflow processes and interdependencies are identified and addressed.· Consults with constituents (these may be internal and/or external) to scope/define project. · Collaboratively works across multiple functions and /or segments to obtain agreement from all impacted parties (e.g., up and downstream effects often impact multiple functions and/or segments.BS/BA or equivalent experience and 10 years of experience related to standards & measurements, technology, systems and processes, including project consultation preferred, with 5 – 7 years of Data Governance and Data Quality experienceExperience developing reporting tools & dashboardsKnowledge of data governance and data quality metrics.
