Web Design/Communications Lead

Aetna s Consumer Health Services Data Science PDS Team creates cutting edge analytic tools to drive better and faster decision making within the organization. We are currently looking for an exceptional Web Design/Communications Lead to play a pivotal role in the creation and deployment of information products. The position is office based in either our Wellesley, MA; Harford, CT or our New York, NY location.

Position Summary: Lead website design and content management and translate technical ideas to business friendly communications

Fundamental Components:

  • Leverage knowledge of advanced website development techniques and technologies to transform, enhance and maintain the organizations internal and external websites.

  • Apply best practices for website design based on industry standards to create simple and engaging user experience.

  • Develop an external web portal to enable self-service, on-demand plan sponsor reporting capabilities.

    Assess complex, varying technical challenges and offer functional, future-proof solutions.

  • Review, validate and modify content regularly by collaborating and communicating with various teams across the organization.

  • Develop a state of the art interface for conducting on-line customer surveys.

  • Create customer communication in form of newsletters, flyers, status notifications, etc.


    5-10 years of experience using modern website development

    Knowledge of digital UX design trends and best practices

    Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally

    Experience building designs on top of a content management system is desired


    The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree.
