Aetna Assistant Actuary - Part D pricing in North Charleston, South Carolina

Seeking ASA to provide pricing and analytical support for our Part D pricing team

Fundamental Components:

Provide pricing support for our IND Part D products

Develop and aggregate pricing results and extrapolate results for Sr. Management

Forecast trends for IND Part D

Perform analysis on membership, NBE/Margin, emerging experience, and claim costs

Provide support for our monthly GM meetings Support compliance testing, desk review, and audits

Other ad hoc analysis as available


Bachelor's degree along w/3+ years relevant experience.

ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) is required

Pharmacy/Medicare experience preferred, not required

Strong independent management of multiple tasks and timelines required

Strong communication skills

Strong programming skills (SAS)


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.


Actuarial/Associate of the Society of Actuaries is required


Functional - Actuarial/Financial actuarial analysis/1-3 Years

Functional - Actuarial/Pricing: manual rate structure development/1-3 Years


General Business/Communicating for Impact/ADVANCED

General Business/Demonstrating Business and Industry Acumen/ADVANCED

Telework Specifications:

Considered for any US location; training period in the office may be required

Also consider Full-Time Telework (WAH)
