Perform balance sheet account reconciliation functions to ensure audit compliance and fraud prevention. Identify and resolve balance sheet accounting issues to support accurate financial reporting
Analyzes balance sheet balances and associated ledger information to ensure appropriate accounting for activity; works with management to ensure that un-reconciled items are appropriately researched and resolved. Communicates with business units to proactively identify and resolve related issues. Uses reconciliation system effectively to complete reconciliations. Completes monthly and quarterly compliance reporting. Assists with responses to both internal and external auditors.
College degree or equivalent experience. Accounting, banking, and/or business administration experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
