POSITION SUMMARY

Manager, Clinical Operations for Coverage Determination Duals/DSNP Program direct oversight of the clinical pharmacists team making the medical necessity/exception review decisions.

Fundamental Components:

Manager, Clinical Operations for Coverage Determination Duals/DSNP Program direct oversight of the clinical pharmacists team making the medical necessity/exception review decisions. Ideal candidate will be a licensed pharmacist with 3 yrs management experience in a call center environment with 2-3 years experience with Medicare/Medicaid coverage determination reviews. 2-3 years knowledge implementing and adhering to CMS regulatory requirements with preferred experience in working with PBM to pull universe information for CDAG audits and facilitating and presenting business results.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE required:

In-depth knowledge and experience in managed care / managed pharmacy / competitive environment with a focus on Medicare 3 years clinical administrative experience in pharmacy related industry, or equivalent. 2 plus years of management experience

EDUCATION

The highest level of education required for candidates in this position is a Bachelors degree.
