Case Manager Assistance working closely with nurses and providers to obtain medical information and secure return to work status

Fundamental Components:

? Contact provider for treatment plan, follow up appointment dates, referral assistance, & RTW

? Channel to Network when applicable

? Update the employer/location regarding all status changes and confirm RTW

? Work with the employer to facilitate RTW

? Update adjuster on treatment and work status

? Optional contact with employee to schedule appointments


2-4 years experience as a medical assistant, office assistant.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience.


Functional - Customer Service/Customer service - Medical billing/1-3 Years

Functional - Clinical / Medical/Clinical claim review & coding/1-3 Years


Technical - Aetna Applications/DocFind/1-3 Years/End User
