POSITION SUMMARY

This office based position will report to the Director of Clinical Health programs for Federal Employee Health Program (FEHBP). This position will also have a dotted line to and support the dedicated Senior Medical Directed and their staff for FEHBP.

You will compose correspondence, compile & analyze basic datasets, manage department calendar and act as a delegate for Manager Activities such as expense reports.

Maintains meeting minutes

Answer telephone calls, routine questions and furnish information as needed

Opens, sorts, distributes, scans, organizes, prioritizes and responds to mail

Coordinates calendars; scheduling meetings, room reservations, hospitality arrangements

Strong computer skills-knowledge of Edi , Right fax , etc. a plus

Operates and maintains various office equipment

Orders and maintains office supplies

Organizes and maintains files

Coordinates land and air travel arrangements

Produces a variety of correspondence, reports, and presentations using the appropriate software

1-3 years administrative or technical support experience.

Fundamental Components:

This is a computer/telephonic position, supporting the clinical director remotely and the Sr MD potentially at the site. It will require frequent collaboration and interaction with all dedicated teams within the business to include account management and the clients themselves. It is currently a Coventry business, on Coventry systems with a scheduled migration to the Aetna systems in 2018. So system flexibility is also required. Must be open to frequent change in our ever changing environment.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

1-3 years administrative or technical support experience preferably in administrative assistant or office assistant role in the health insurance industry

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience.
