POSITION SUMMARY

The Medicare Sales Broker Manager position for both Riverside and San Bernardino counties will play a critical role to the region's success. Position drives membership growth through broker recruitment, training and strong interface with key providers and community organizations. Oversees broker compliance activity, sales and member retention meetings and will have provider interface for improved STAR ratings.

Fundamental Components:

Optimize the sales capability and effectiveness of brokers and agency distribution partners through broker recruitment and trainings to grow an assigned territory and successfully launch new products.

Possess excellent public speaking skills for effective broker trainings and sales presentations.

4-6 years in the Medicare sales field are needed to effectively coach brokers in successful selling and business development.

Basic computer skills are required to navigate broker data bases, analytics and contracting.

Ability to manage all aspects of a territory to meet and achieve sales goals as assigned by working independently as well operate in a fast paced corporate team environment by working with brokers, agencies, providers and community partners.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Minimum 3-5 years sales and/or broker sales experience required.

Excellent verbal communication and sales/training presentation skills.

Ability to use standard corporate software packages and corporate applications.

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.

Ability to develop and execute a business plan.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Insurance/Health and Life Insurance Company Operations (LOMA) is desired
