POSITION SUMMARY

The Medicare Territory Product Manager is a leading contributor to the Medicare Product Operations team. The successful candidate will lead a team of Medicare Product Managers who have responsibility for delivering timely and accurately throughout the product lifecycle. In addition to ensuring team performance meets standards throughout the product lifecycle, he/she will be responsible for coaching, educating and training on best practices for that territory.

Fundamental Components:Leverages in-depth knowledge and understanding of Medicare products across functions and market segments in directing the development and implementation of new product initiatives, including product enhancementsSeeks and maintains comprehensive understanding of internal and external environmental influences and competitive pressures to develop and enhance product portfolioWorks with key partners such as GMs/Actuaries Part C/D, and pharmacy teams on service area expansions, CMS bid filings and major annual communications to members (SBs, EOCs/ANOCs)Establishes and manages cross-functional development and implementation work groups. Manages relationships to secure necessary resources not under direct control.SME for marketing materials for internal audiences related to new and existing products. May support sales teams/markets/GMs as subject matter expert.Selects and builds strong teams through formal and informal training, coaching, mentoring and other development techniques. Accountable to hire, develop and terminate staff.Conducts performance and compensation reviews and implements staff development programs to encourage high performance and high collaboration within team.Articulates performance expectations and team objectives while collecting and interpreting balanced measures to
