POSITION SUMMARY

Manage Group Insurances service efforts for Life and Disability products in the assigned market area to retain and grow existing Group Insurance customers. Cultivate Strong relationships with the Brokers, Plan Sponsors and Field Account Executives to foster the retention, growth and cross sale of the Aetna lines in the markets assigned.

Fundamental Components:

Oversees assigned block of business to retain profitable customers and help grow the business through consultative selling, issue resolution and superior service. Oversees the coordination of all new business installations in assigned territory within appropriate guidelines for timeliness and quality. Builds effective working relationships across all GI functions and within assigned territory, i.e., health sales and service colleagues. Recommends appropriate solutions for retention issues. Participates in finalist presentations across assigned territory. Actively pursues Cross Sell opportunities. Provides product and service updates to plan sponsors, brokers and Health Account Managers for existing business. Participates in plan sponsor/broker meetings, as necessary but at least annually for assigned book of business. Coordinates annual enrollment activities for new and existing clients, including Benefit Fairs.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Strong financial skills. Product specialist for Life, Disability, FMLA/Absence management. Proven leadership and negotiation skills. Strong analytical skills. Strong organization skills. Effective written, verbal, presentation and negotiation skills.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Insurance/General Lines Life Account & Health License is Required.
