Aetna is looking for a Rock Star Senior Project / Program Manager/ Non IT for our partnership team accountable for the development, implementation and ongoing management of multiple business processes supporting the Apple partnership. The person selected for this position will work closely with our internal and external business partners in the development and execution of a detailed cross-functional plan to support the current and new programs under development. This position reports to the Head of Partnership Implementation.

Ideal candidates will thrive in the fast-paced environment while collaborating throughout Aetna to help strengthen the partnership with Apple.

Fundamental Components:

Lead and manage multiple projects and/or programs and execute the scope of services outlined

Oversee the cross functional work streams in a dynamic environment to ensure the timely completion of high quality deliverables

Full accountability for the management of project timelines and milestones for a variety of work streams

Develop reports and status updates for Aetna/Apple programs to identify status against plans

Responsible for risk assessment, contingency planning and appropriate escalation of issues.


5+ years Project/Program Management experience, preferably in a startup or digital health environment.

Communication Leader

Critical eye on project's details, time-lines, deliverables and expectations.

Excellent organizational and project management skills

Understanding of digital health is preferred

Excellent business acumen, a Communication Leader.

Excellent writing skills

Strong interpersonal & organizational skills.

Proven strong work ethic, can do attitude is required.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.


  • Primary location is Hartford, CT.

  • Other locations are possible , but must be near an Aetna office.
