Aetna National Account Sales Associate in Seattle, Washington

This is an office based role in one of the following offices: Woodland Hills, CA, San Francisco, CA, or Seattle, WA.


Support sales team with new sales or existing business with activities that may include, but are not limited to, entry level sales training, enrollment meetings, health fairs, interregional RFAs, sharing or managing a book or business, inside sales, sales proposal development, customer reporting, updating and managing, and constituent relations (producers, plan sponsors, customers).

Fundamental Components include but are not limited to:

May support and contributes to profitable sales on a shared book of business or customer base (i.e., assists in preparation of customer reporting and new business proposals).

Assists with underwriting case preparation, as appropriate.

May work with sales support area in support of RFP processing.

Completes entry level sales training and actively participates in ongoing sales training.

Participates in open enrollment presentation and health fairs as necessary.

May assist in the cultivation and development of producer and consultant contacts in the assigned territory.

May conduct enrollment meetings for plan sponsors and trains brokers and/or plan sponsor representatives to conduct these meetings in the future.

Collaborates with team members, as appropriate, on case installation to manage the integration of clients and Aetnas internal organizations, ensuring a smooth installation.

May handle inside sales and works cross-functionally to complete the sale and ensure a timely and accurate installation.


-1-3 years of Sales administration, support, reporting

-A minimum of 3-4 years industry experience

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Ability to work collaboratively within work teams

-Ability to communicate effectively with management

-Strong organization skills


The minimum level of education desired for candidates in this position is a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience.


Health and Life Insurance License is desired
