Achieve timely, accurate and thoroughly investigated disability decisions and appropriate ongoing management of disability claims and reserve liability.

Fundamental Components:

Manage an assigned block of moderately complex Long Term Disability claims to ensure prompt and accurate liability determinations and appropriate liability decisions by managing each claim duration based on contractual terms, medical conditions, and work capacity, while pursuing applicable offsets.


1-3 years Disability claim management experience;

Knowledge of Unfair Claim Settlement Practices Act, ERISA, ADA, and federal, state and local regulations affecting claim investigation, disability decisions, claim payment, taxation and reporting requirements.

Experience performing multiple calculations with a high degree of accuracy, and working in a multi-system (mainframe and Windows)


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
