Serves as subject matter expert for the implementation of Medicare Advantage activities and programs in the Eastern Missouri/South Central Illinois market. Provides guidance and consultation for new product startup, program design, regulatory compliance, member experience and more. Supports the market's operational team in their efforts to achieve their tactical business goals. Supports the Eastern Missouri/South Central Illinois CMS bid and related activities.
Serves as local market subject matter expert on all things Medicare.
Assists with the execution of CMS required activities and processes including the accuracy and effectiveness of the annual bid submission , expansion planning and execution, and member communications.
Provides consultative support for Medicare product design.
Supports member retention activities, including development of outreach materials, design and implementation of outreach programs, and events planning.
Monitors sales and marketing activities to assure adherence to Federal and State regulations.
Previous experience (5-7 years) in Medicare Operations and/or Medicare compliance functions.
Ability to perform analysis to identify opportunities.
Excellent consulting and leadership skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Able to effectively coordinate multiple projects.
Proficiency with standard software, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
