This position will sit in our Sugar Land, TX office location.


The Engagement Manager is the primary person responsible for the provider relationship and the overall performance of these accounts, including the achievement of financial, product, technology, clinical, and operational ACO goals, including implementing contractual VBC arrangements and supporting on-going operations.

Fundamental Components:

Develops mutually beneficial end-to-end relationships with specified provider accounts by directing implementation and operations of the VBC arrangement and by actively managing provider relations.

Operationalizes terms of VBC contract (e.g., installation and operation of care transformation programs, technological systems) by leveraging cross-functional groups to provide solutions and materials to respond to provider concerns, queries and requests.

Establishes, influences, and manages internal cross-functional and external provider relationships to support these activities.

Seeks to optimize customer interaction, anticipating customer needs and acting as the voice of the customer internally, providing recommendations based on customer needs.

Coordinates and monitors performance of VBC arrangement and identifies opportunities for improvement to ensure arrangement is achieving performance guarantees and ACS clinical and financial goals.


5+ years of hospital system and/or health insurance industry experience, ACO / managed-care experience preferred

3+ years of client management

3+ years of project management experience in a health plan, health system or provider organization

Strong strategic consulting experience with either a provider or payer.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
