High emphasis for SQL experience
Advanced finance position serving the Medicaid Business Unit. Performs complex assignments requiring advanced analytical and technical skills including revenue, membership, and medical expense variance analysis and reconciliations, forecasting, budgeting, and data analysis.
-Analyze key components of financial results, including revenue, membership, and medical expense variance analysis. Addresses questions as needed.
-Develop trend reports to analyze volume, spending, etc. variances.
-Streamline processes for efficiency and identify cost savings opportunities within defined scope.
-Support financial information requests from Segment financial management.
-Analyze new reporting methods and revise unit processes as needed to provide more meaningful and timely analysis/reporting for senior management.
-Prepare complex ad hoc monthly reports as needed for expenses, staffing and key performance metrics.
5+ years finance related experience generally required, healthcare finance and the ability to build data queries using SQL are a plus.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
