Leadership role that aggregates multiple sources of data & analytics to develop fact-based strategies and plans that provoke innovation to drive growth and financial performance.The leader of the Enterprise Intelligence group will act as an internal strategy consultant to senior business partners across the organization, leveraging data, insights and analytics to help drive strategic decisions and planning.
This role is an advocate for information. We are looking for a candidate who craves information and understands how to take a problem and attack it by developing data-based hypotheses and test plans
influences/consults with the leaders on the suite of solutions designed by the team to be leveraged and maximized for optimum performance within each segment/business line
Seeks innovative methods when developing strategic plans; proactively identifies knowledge across projects and uses that knowledge to influence the business; identifies the most meaningful patterns from across internal and external data sources; advises others on insight generation techniques most appropriate for study; uses experience to improve team members recommendations. Works with business partners to summarize the businesses current knowledge and identifies gaps that they need filled in order to make better decisions. Can reframe requests and negotiate difficult constituencies ensuring maximum learning value for the time and budget spent on research requests. (*)
Engages with business leaders to ensure understanding of strategic and tactical plans and priorities. Consistently develops compelling insights into action; involves key business partners in process enabling them to help others apply the insights into the business; has conviction about recommendations and have ability to have a professional dialog with business stakeholders. Designs presentations to generate discussion to provoke business action; knows how to present information to achieve objective and respond to unexpected reactions; encourages debate around research recommendations and consistently advocates for consumer point of view. (*)
Develops the annual plan for one or more lines of business. In collaboration with leadership, allocates resources (people and budget) to priority initiatives. Redefines medium-value requests and eliminates or outsources low-value requests. (*)
Successfully directs and manages multiple and often complex assignments in parallel. Owns all aspects of budgeting, resource management, project management and stakeholder communications; supports other functional teams on balancing to handle unplanned priorities and budget overruns. Foresees and mitigates time or budget challenges; utilizes suppliers as an extension of the team in a cost effective manner.
12+ years experience in client research role, or as account management role in research supplier side.
Cross functional expertise including Strategy and Business Operations.
Experience in a variety of industries including Healthcare. Both B2B and B2C research experience is a must.
