Aetna Workers Compensation Registered Nurse (RN) Telephonic Case Manager in Allentown, Pennsylvania

The Workers Compensation Telephonic Case Manager works with the employees, providers, employers, claims examiners and vendors to coordinate medical care and facilitate the timely return to work with an injured worker. You will telephonically manage cases for injured workers, making sure they attend appointments, following up on resources needed and documenting. You will make a direct impact on the members!
This role requires active, unrestricted Pennsylvania RN Licensure and Workers Comp experience in the state of Pennsylvania. It is full-time work at home role.
Daily calls with the members, providers, claim examiners and any other resource needed.
Documenting and keeping records for billing purposes and compliance.
Working with MS Office and multiple systems daily.
Organizing your workload and day, depending on needs
Talking with the members and providers while you are documenting at the same time
Registered Nurse (RN) with active state license in good standing in the state of PA is required.
Minimum of 3 years clinical practice experience is required.
Workers Comp experience in the state of PA (knowledge of PA Workers Comp laws) is required (case management and/or utilization management).
Strong computer skills including MS Office, Windows knowledge, strong keyboarding skills and ability to work in multiple systems at one time is required.
Additional national professional certification (CRC, CDMS, CRRN, COHN, or CCM) is preferred.
The minimum level of education required for candidates in this position is an Associate's degree.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Nursing/Registered Nurse (RN) in PA is required.
CCM, COHN, CDMS and CCRN is highly preferred.
Full-time work at home position; must be within driving distance of Philadelphia, PA.
