This position focuses on the support of Austin Independent School District providing data analysis, recommendation, program development and evaluation in support of population health. Will serve as a trusted advisor to the account team and customer providing strategic insight.

Fundamental Components but not limited to the following:

This role works in partnership with the account team and customer to assist in the development of employer health and wellness strategy, provide subject matter expertise on Aetna programs and integrates when appropriate with other community based goals/services.

Additionally this position will:

Deliver clinical, analytic solutions in support of healthcare business initiatives that drive short and long term results

Participation in customer meetings, developing and presenting ideas and strategies

Act as a trusted clinical/health wellness resource to the customer and account team

Network within the organization, community and health/wellness industry as needed in support of customer strategy


5+ years experience with one or more of the following methodologies: management consulting, project consulting, health and wellness programming, data analysis to support program development

Experience with moderate scale initiatives with moderate degree of complexity.

Demonstrated project management and organizational redesign experience in the health and wellness arena.

Demonstrated experience successfully implementing change in complex organizations.

Demonstrated relationship management skills at the senior level; capacity to quickly build and maintain credible relationships at varying levels internally at Aetna and at the customer organization simultaneously.

Demonstrated relationship management skills at the membership level.


The minimum level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.


Nursing/Registered Nurse (RN) OR Certified Health Educator (CHE) is required

Health and Fitness/Health Fitness Specialist Certification is desired

Healthcare Management/Certified Professional in Healthcare Management is desired

Managed Care/Managed Healthcare Professional is desired

Telework Specifications:

Employee will be located at the customer site in Austin, TX with occasional work at home with prior approval.
