POSITION SUMMARY - Only candidates able to work in the Beachwood OH office will be considered.

Leads the successful delivery of analyses and analytic solutions to meet business needs, interacting directly with internal and external clients and colleagues. May act as analytic team lead or mentor for complex projects involving multiple resources and tasks in support of company objectives.

Fundamental Components:

Fundamental Components & Physical Requirements include but are not limited to

  • Apply knowledge of healthcare data to support disease & case management products.

  • Performs analyses of varied healthcare data to evaluate programs and product solutions using healthcare eligibility, medical, pharmacy, lab, provider and biometric data.

  • Design and code efficiently using SAS/SQL programs.

  • Extracts healthcare data from multiple sources and creates integrated analytics data sets.

  • Perform some of the aspects of data analysis (i.e., data acquisition, data management, programming and documentation).

  • Assess data and analyze quality to identify and correct data issues.

  • Document methods, specification, and results clearly, contribute to the writing and presentation of project reports.

  • Communicate information in a clear and concise manner.

  • Responsible for commitments to quality and on-time deliverables.

  • Manages personal resources efficiently to complete assigned projects accurately and on time.

    BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

    Demonstrated extensive and diverse knowledge of health care data, metrics, systems and standards; demonstrated subject matter expert in multiple subject areas.

    Ability to communicate statistical and technical ideas and results to non-technical clients in written and verbal form.

    Advanced SQL and SAS programming abilities

    Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams.

    Strong problem solving skills and critical thinking ability.

    Strong reporting skills using Excel, Access, Word and/or PowerPoint.

    Experience in working in a data warehouse environment as well as the ability to work with large data sets from multiple data sources.

    EDUCATION

    The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

    LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

    Information Technology/SAS Base Programming Certification for SAS 9 is desired

    Telework Specifications:

    Option for telework will be evaluated after a 6 months to a year of employment in the OH office and it is considered only for unique circumstances.
