The LRB Account Manager is accountable to work in conjunction with an Account Director on larger (>300 employees) and more complex clients. The primary role of the Account Manager is to execute on strategies developed by the Account Director while maintaining strong relationships with clients and brokers to help achieve retention and growth objectives year over year.
*This role can WAH but must reside in Denver, Salt Lake, Boise, Washington (Seattle), or Oregon
Executes tactical components of the Account Directors business plan for each client Analyze client utilization data to understand cost drivers Make plan design and new product recommendations to Account Director Schedule, Prepare for and participate in client meetings with Account Director or independently Act as day-to-day contact for client management issues (report analysis, contract questions, compliance, education, stop loss policy management, etc) Provide support and direction on regulatory issues and other healthcare trends that could potentially impact their plan Using available resources, complete plan analyses to aid in financial decision making and plan recommendations to Account Director Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills Understand competitive environment and market opportunities Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate internal partners (underwriting, sales, operations, business analytics, etc) and work collaboratively across business functions to ensure customer needs are met Follows through on outstanding items to point of resolution Monitors on an ongoing basis internal performance to ensure clients needs are being met Maintain accurate client records Participate in and/or host client meetings as appropriate Organize and execute open enrollment strategy, health fairs, employee education meetings as required.
3-5 Years of industry experience Strong understanding of health plan market Experience working with public entities is a plus. Licensure as required by Dept of Insurance, State College degree or equivalent work experience.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Full-Time Telework (WAH) is available but ideal candidate will be in the Seattle WA area, , but could also be Part-Time Telework (ex: 2 days office-based, 3 days telework)
