POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the sales and retention of Aetna Medicare Advantage products. Generate new sales through community development and direct marketing of groups and individuals.
Fundamental Components:
Develop and maintain relationships with centers of influence in assigned local market to drive demand for Aetna products (33% of time). Conduct seminars, group meetings and in-home presentations to Medicare population about Aetna Medicare Advantage products (33% of time). Create personal value with members to build referral book of business from which to drive enrollment (33% of time). Manage, track and report leads/sales activity in company database
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
Current Kentucky Life and Health insurance license required. Minimum 1 to 3 years of Health insurance sales experience required. Medicare Advantage preferred. Valid Ohio Drivers License required. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required. 1 to 3 years computer experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
