Craft rich, interactive user experiences for Aetna web platforms. Build high quality user experiences and architectural planning for front-end technology. Collaborate on data formats and APIS with other business teams internally. Work closely with designers, development teams, marketing managers and business analysts to deliver robust scalable solutions to meet our digital marketing needs.

Fundamental Components:

Responsible for implementing projects on Adobe Experience Manager. Design and build a robust framework that supports component and template reuse across different brand sites. Support processes related to the implementation of systems into production. Translate business requirements to technical specifications and create technical designs for a new application or enhancements. Establish strong, effective, working relationships with the client base across the organization.


Minimum 5 years of software development experience.

Experience must include hands on front end development experience using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and libraries / frameworks (jQuery, Backbone, Angular, Vue or React).

Must have experience in Adobe Experience Manager based UI development; and transforming prototypes into AEM components using Sightly and Adobe's Touch UI toolkit.

Must also have experience with templating libraries (Nunjucks, Mustache, Handlebars); CSS pre-processors (Sass, Less); build tools (GULP, GRUNT); technologies (JSON, AJAX, XML, HTTP, REST architecture); and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAGs).


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
