Aetna Consumer Health & Products (CHP) mandate is to transform health and wellness via products that enable consumer engagement and a best-in-class experience. This team is responsible for Aetna's digital strategy and all digital products; as well as the development road map and execution of the roadmap. A key part of this team is to build an integrated platform and underlying products to drive engagement and revolutionize health and wellness. Aetna is taking on a major initiative to redesign and rebuild many of its customer facing digital assets. This effort will include a completely new approach to developing software within Aetna, using the latest design approaches, technologies, and processes. Aetna Digital is a newly formed startup like business unit within Aetna, which will design, build an deliver a completely new and integrated digital experience for our users. Fundamental Components:Aetna Digital is looking for a Design Program Manager with experience working in fast-paced, startup like environment. As the Program Manager of the Design team, you will help manage and grow the User Experience of our digital platform and ecosystem. By supporting the operational aspects of the design team, you enable designers to focus their time on designing product. Partner with other product managers/owners, agile managers and leadership to mature the offering and ensure it exceeds the expectations of our customers and users. Grow your skill set and knowledge base by working alongside talented and passionate teammates from diverse backgrounds. •Be the voice & champion of the consumer by driving the growth of the digital platform User Experience in an methodical orderly way.•Partner with Product and Engineering to coordinate the design needs of the organization.•Facilitate the discussions and decisions needed to prioritize & sequence work for all stakeholders.•Publicize and communicate design delivery expectations and keep all parties informed of any changes.•Communicate issues related to staying on schedule and help propose solutions to remedy the issue.•Help drive the Design team to success by working across teams to drive discussion & engagement, coordinate & track design stories in an agile software development life cycle. •Work with the Design team and external groups to perform research around the user experience and align & feed the output into future feature design/development. •Investigate ways, partnerships, technologies to drive user engagement and satisfaction.•Ensure internal product stakeholders needs /expectations are met and promote transparency by helping communicate through SAFe/SCRUM practices.•Effective team communication, proactive problem solving, information gathering and distribution are all core tenets for this position. BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:Passion and deep interest in creating only the best User Experiences.4+ years of experience working within product management or similar function.Healthcare industry experience desired.Experience working with engineering and UX teams to build SAAS-based web applications and native iOS/Android apps is required.Experience with Agile/Scrum practices required. SAFe a plus. EDUCATIONBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
