Dynamic Business Project Management position focused on Multi-Channel Engagement for Aetnas clinical technology team. Engagement includes functionality such as: Consumer Preferences, SMS/Texting, Video Calling, Web Chat, Voice Command Devices, Secure Messaging, Call-Routing & Member Appointment Scheduling. This business & technology minded role will be responsible for requirement gathering, project management and ultimately delivery of all assigned Features to support the implementation of multiple lines of business on the new Clinical Platform. This is a fast-paced Scaled Agile implementation where working knowledge of agile principles is required and experience with clinical processes is a huge plus. Join our team of Product Owners and be on the front lines of influencing/delivering Clinical Engagement Channels.

Position can be based at any Aetna location.

Fundamental Components:

-Participate in work streams responsible for the design, development and implementation of systems that support a clinical contact center model through the customers point of view

-Interview business stakeholders to define & prioritize business needs

-Document requirements through Agile stories and acceptance criteria

-Drive delivery through backlog prioritization

-Communicate and influence multiple stakeholders at varying levels within the organization.

-Excellent communication and negotiation skills with various level of management, ability to translate business need into system requirements is a must.

-Concise documentation of decisions, workflows, controls points, and business processes as reference to support approved project scope.

-Strategic thinker, that understands and can bring together the end to end healthcare concepts that result in improved member experiences

-Become a business expert on the next generation clinical technologies


-5+ years of Business Project Management experience.

-Proven track record in meeting project milestones and negotiating for resources.

-Proven negotiation skills.

-Experience includes development and management of multiple budgets related to various projects and or program.

-Able to manage multiple projects.

-Experience with execution of projects using Agile / SAFe methodology

-Knowledge of Clinical Programs / Platforms

-Knowledge of customer service technology (CRM), with Salesforce Service Cloud experience being a plus-Good business acumen

-Able to present data and project goals. Plus gather information from Cross Functional Team Members

-Advanced skill level with MS Office Program: Excel, PowerPoint and Visio



The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.


  • Travel is required to Hartford, CT and possible other cites within the US on a quarterly basis.
