POSITION SUMMARY

Plan and execute delivery of QA tasks in adherence to the Aetna Project Life Cycle (APLC) and/or in support of I&T initiatives to provide efficiencies and quality products on time to our end customer. Develop test designs, using requirement, architecture, data modeling, design and Use Case artifacts as input, and embracing industry design techniques, to produce the most efficient and risk adverse outcomes. Responsible for test architecture, strategy, standards, and procedures for assigned areas. Responsible for escalating project and release items (issues, concerns, defects) to the Release Manager and for communicating own issues, developing options to mitigate negative impacts to release schedule. Assist the QA Sr. Manager/QA Sr. Project Manager in understanding impacts of issues in other areas or own area of testing.

Required Skills:

Minimum 5 years of software quality analysis testing experience with Object Oriented design and coding. Must have at least 5 years of experience with the following: Server-side test planning and deep-dive testing; preparation and execution of test script using Selenium; Firebug Tool; TestNg; Maven; Web Technologies (HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON); Programming languages (Java); Test Automation (QTP and SOAP UI); SQL, MySql, Db2 and relational database concepts; Web services and API testing; Jira and Junit; Mercury/HP tools Quality Center; Quick test Pro; and Unix/Linux.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related.
