POSITION SUMMARY

The Regional VBS Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the VBS program in their respective markets, ensuring the goals of Health Plan and National VBS initiatives as stated in the MCO contract or otherwise are met or exceeded. This resource will serve as the main point of contact for VBS working collaboratively with Health Plan and Shared Services stakeholders. This role will be responsible for facilitating in person VBS provider program meetings which support continuous improvement and garner support from quality, provider relations, population health and network in achieving and surpassing VBS program goals. This individual will facilitate VBS education to internal and external stakeholders regarding the plans VBS programs, program advocacy, and continuous improvement feedback. This role will be responsible for monitoring and communicating provider performance and engaging appropriate stakeholders for problem resolution. They will represent their Health Plans year to date performance to inform VBS strategy in each market. The Regional VBS Program Director is responsible for managing all aspects of the VBS program in their respective markets, ensuring the goals of Health Plan and National VBS initiatives.

THIS POSITION IS 100% REMOTE AND NOT BASED IN AN OFFICE. YOU MUST RESIDE IN THE Midwest TO BE CONSIDERED SINCE YOUR TERRITORY WILL BE IN THE Midwest REGION.

Fundamental Components:

Promote a clear vision aligned with company values and direction, motivates others to integrate VBS as a business construct. Challenges self and others to look to the implement and operationalize VBS programs that drive to optimal care for all members. Actively participate and serve as the Subject Matter Advisor in deploying, managing, and providing oversight to the Health Plans VBS programs. Ensure VBS goals are being met and that provider partners are being supported. Drive the development of work plan, promote the utilization of tools and reports to achieve desired program goals and outcomes. Collaborate and partner with Health Plan leaders to monitor, and/or implement operational processes to optimize VBS program outcomes including enhanced member and provider experience. Align plan policies and procedures with Aetna Medicaid National VBS program descriptions and policy templates. Lead regular meetings with the plan stakeholders and provider partners to ensure understanding of VBS program and goals. Facilitate and participate in presentations and consultations to key internal and external stakeholders. Provide VBS program improvement feedback to the National VBS team. Model emotional intelligence and serve as a role model to staff.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Value Based Managed Care Program experience including managed care contracting Project management experience or solid foundation in project management principles Proven competency in managing and driving programs to completion Strong organizational skills Collaborative approach and team builder Management and leadership experience Strong written and verbal communication skills.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
